Bi-directional Encoding & Decoding Converter

The N50 is a versatile converter that integrates both encoding and decoding functionalities in one compact unit.

• In encoding mode, the N50 easily converts a 4K 12G-SDI video into NDI High Bandwidth, NDI HX2/HX3, SRT or RTMP video streams.

• In decoding mode, it automatically detects and adapts to incoming NDI High Bandwidth, NDI HX2/HX3, SRT, or RTMP streams. A loop-out also allows monitoring on a display or projector for easy video signal check in real time.

With its dual-mode flexibility, the N50 is ideal for a wide range of professional AV workflows.

Broadcast-Grade Interlaced and Progressive Signal Handling

The N50 fully supports 1080i60 interlaced signals throughout the entire processing chain:
• 1080i50/i60 in → 1080i50/i60 out
• 1080i50/i60 in → 1080p50/p60 out
This flexibility ensures smooth operation in studios working with both interlaced and progressive formats.
N50 supports injection of SEI timecode and synchronization of multi-camera feeds to embedded system time or source device time.​

*N50 supports processing of 1080i50/i60 signals, with the capability for native 1080i50/i60 output. This feature is available when the device utilizes ​ NDI HB or H.265 codec, but is ​not supported under the H.264 codec.
